Number 2 - APRIL 2003
- GOLDEN AGE -
This month we travel back in time 60 years to take a look at Superheroes at Wartime.
During World War II, superheroes took an active part in the action.
Some fought along side the troops. Some went in and just tended to business themselves.
Some lent patriotic support. Some spent most of their time rescuing their sidekicks...
and some sang songs!
WARNING: Some of the covers may contain offensive images.
They were produced during a time when ethnicity was caricaturized and child endangerment
didn't seem to be much of an issue (although, they were always about to be rescued).
